Participants complete a series of multiple-choice questions detailing their preferences in a romantic partner.

While the question format is typical of online quizzes, the results are designed to be exceptionally diverse. Unlike traditional quizzes with a limited number of pre-written outcomes, this quiz offers a virtually limitless range of possibilities.

Leveraging StyleGAN and Algorithmic Combination

The BuzzFeed team employed StyleGAN technology to generate a vast library of unique profile images.

Furthermore, BuzzFeed staff contributed a wide array of personality characteristics, sample text messages, hobbies, and even unconventional details. These elements are then combined using a sophisticated algorithm.

“We’re mostly trying to embrace the absurdity of it,” Johanesen stated. He noted that the quiz aims to provide results that are not entirely random, but are still influenced by user input.
