Jeffrey Katzenberg Invests in AI Video Ad Platform

Creatify Secures $15.5 Million in Series A Funding
A $15.5 million Series A funding round has been completed for Creatify, an AI-powered video ad platform. The round was co-led by WndrCo, the venture fund of DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg.
AdMax: AI-Driven Video Ad Generation
Creatify’s AdMax platform leverages artificial intelligence to rapidly produce a multitude of video advertisements. These are specifically designed for social media marketing initiatives.
The platform functions by analyzing successful social video campaigns across platforms like TikTok and Instagram. This analysis informs and shapes the content generated by AdMax.
Industry Interest in AI Advertising
Significant investment and enthusiasm are being demonstrated by leaders in the tech sector regarding AI in advertising. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, has recently discussed his goals to fully automate advertising processes using an AI-driven tool.
This tool would be capable of testing thousands of ad variations with users on Facebook, Instagram, and Threads.
A Note of Caution: Past Ventures
While this level of automation represents a substantial shift, its success isn't guaranteed. Jeffrey Katzenberg, despite his extensive experience in the entertainment industry, has not always seen his ventures succeed.
He previously founded Quibi, a short-form video platform that, despite raising $1.75 billion, ceased operations after only six months.
