Angi Homeservices CEO Change: Oisin Hanrahan Takes the Helm
Oisin Hanrahan Appointed CEO of ANGI Homeservices
Just over two years following ANGI Homeservices’ acquisition of his company, Handy, Oisin Hanrahan is assuming the position of CEO for the consolidated organization. He will also be joining the company’s board of directors.
ANGI Homeservices Overview
ANGI operates as a publicly listed subsidiary of IAC, resulting from the merger of Angie’s List and HomeAdvisor. Beyond these core brands, the company manages a diverse portfolio including Fixd Repair, HomeStars, MyHammer, MyBuilder, Instapro, Travaux, and Werkspot.
The majority of these additional brands operate outside of the United States.
Scale and Performance
The company reports that approximately 250,000 home service professionals are actively utilizing its platforms each year. Over 30 million projects are successfully completed annually through these services.
For the fourth quarter of 2020, ANGI Homeservices recorded revenue of $359 million, representing a 12% increase compared to the previous year.
However, the company also reported a net loss of $14.5 million for the same period.
Hanrahan’s Background
Mr. Hanrahan initially joined ANGI Homeservices through the Handy acquisition in October 2018. Subsequently, he was appointed as ANGI’s chief product officer in the following year.

Leadership Transition
Brandon Ridenour, the previous CEO of ANGI Homeservices, is stepping down from his role. Joey Levin, CEO of IAC, expressed his appreciation for Ridenour’s “instrumental role in developing ANGI Homeservices over the last decade.”
Levin also lauded Hanrahan as “an exceptional product visionary.”
New Appointments
Alongside the CEO change, ANGI Homeservices announced two new executive appointments.
- Bryan Ellis will serve as chief revenue officer — Marketplace, overseeing the company’s lead generation and advertising offerings.
- Umang Dua, a co-founder of Handy, will assume the role of chief revenue officer — ANGI Services, responsible for the company’s pre-priced service options.
