Harry Stebbings Leaves Stride VC

Harry Stebbings Transitions from Stride.VC

Harry Stebbings, known for his venture capital work and podcasting, is relinquishing his role as a partner at Stride.VC.

Stride.VC is a London-based venture capital firm that Stebbings co-established alongside Fred Destin, who previously held a position at Accel.

Focus Shift to 20VC and Micro Fund

According to a statement released via Twitter by Destin, Stebbings will no longer participate in the management of Stride’s subsequent fund.

However, he will maintain his partnership status within the firm’s initial fund.

Stebbings intends to concentrate his efforts on expanding his successful podcast, “The Twenty Minute VC,” and launching a new, independently managed micro fund named “20VC.”

Destin's Perspective

Destin communicated via Twitter that Stebbings’ podcast has consistently been a significant passion and has experienced substantial growth.

He stated that Stebbings desires to dedicate even greater resources to the 20VC platform.

Destin also affirmed his continued dedication to Stride.VC and the progress of its team.

Stride.VC Personnel Changes

Since its official launch in late 2018, Stride.VC has experienced several changes in its personnel.

Stebbings represents the latest departure from the firm.

Pia d’Iribarne, a partner based in Paris, left the company last August and subsequently co-founded New Wave.

Furthermore, Arj Soysa, a former operating partner, departed approximately a year prior and is currently serving as a finance director at Mubadala Capital in Europe.

Current Stride.VC Team

As indicated on LinkedIn, the current team at Stride.VC, alongside Destin, comprises investor Pietro Invernizzi, finance and operations partner Ross W., and executive assistant Georgina Gallagher.

Further Comment

Both Stebbings and Destin chose not to provide additional commentary beyond Destin’s initial statements on Twitter.

They directed all further inquiries to the aforementioned Twitter thread.
