Rippling Attempts to Serve Deel CEO - Bailiffs Unable to Locate

Rippling's Difficulty Serving Deel CEO in Lawsuit
Rippling, a human resources technology startup, is currently attempting to officially notify Deel CEO Alex Bouaziz regarding a significant lawsuit filed against its rival company.
However, a challenge has arisen. Bailiffs from France, engaged by Rippling, have been unsuccessful in locating Bouaziz, as reported by the Irish publication, Business Post.
Details of the Legal Action
Rippling initiated legal proceedings against Deel earlier this year in Ireland. The lawsuit alleges that Deel incentivized an employee to engage in corporate espionage against them.
Supporting this claim is an affidavit from the individual purportedly involved in the spying, which reads with a narrative quality akin to a fictional film.
Deel has firmly refuted all accusations of misconduct.
Challenges in Serving Papers
For the lawsuit to proceed, Rippling must successfully serve legal papers to Alex Bouaziz. The French bailiffs, tasked with this responsibility, have been unable to find Bouaziz at his registered address in Paris.
It is possible that Rippling will need to petition the court to allow service via email, according to the Business Post.
Bouaziz's Location
Sources indicate that Bouaziz maintains a highly mobile lifestyle, yet retains strong ties to France. This information was reported by the French magazine, Challenges.
His professional networking profiles present differing locations: LinkedIn lists Tel Aviv, while X (formerly Twitter) indicates New York.
An update on April 15th reveals that Deel’s CEO is currently in Dubai, as learned by TechCrunch, further complicating Rippling’s efforts to serve him with the lawsuit.
No Comment from Involved Parties
Deel, Rippling, and Alex Bouaziz did not respond to requests for statements regarding this matter.
